OPENING CEREMONY
Approximately 8,000-12,000 spectators watch the magnificent opening ceremony at the Wörthersee Stadium every year.
Athletes from all over the world, who enter the stadium with the flags of their own countries, greet the stands and take their places for the show.
Dances, acrobatic shows and concerts are watched with interest by athletes and guests. After the UWG anthem is sung, the games are considered to have started.
